Fiber Line

What Happens here?

After the News Screen and the Polishing Screen, the fiber materials head to the two fiber lines for quality control.

How it works:

All material is sorted through by several employees who are performing a negative sort. This means that once they are done pulling out things that shouldn’t be there, all material falls into the mixed paper holding bunker. These employees are looking for trash like small plastic bags, small pieces of cardboard that made it past the OCC Screen, flattened containers – which are sent back over to the container line, and other possible contaminants.

Where are the materials going next?

All paper falls off the end of the belt into a holding bunker. The items the employees separated out will go to either the container line, in the cardboard bunker, or into the trash bunker.
