It’s always enjoyable to get out the box of Christmas ornaments and decorations during the holiday season, creating our own “winter wonderland” inside the house where it’s warm and cozy.
While it’s exciting to purchase new decorations, we can’t escape the reality that they’ll occupy our shelves, desktops, and countertops for a short period of time before they sit in storage for the rest of the year. And we may already have items around the house that would make perfect Christmas decorations with a few tweaks here and there!
For example, do you have CD’s sitting around the house collecting dust because all your music is downloaded on an electronic device? Well, you’re in luck! It just so happens that cremedelacraft.com found a way to turn an ordinary CD into a piece of sheer elegance!
Someone truly had a "lightbulb moment" with this next decoration! Who would’ve thought that a regular lightbulb could be transformed into an adorable snowman ornament?! To make your own snowman, find step-by-step instructions here.
These are just a couple of the many ideas out there concerning upcycling everyday items, but hopefully this gives you a good start!
Happy decorating, and we hope you have a Merry Christmas and wonderful holiday season!
