Whether you've had a friend or family member battle cancer, or gone through the difficult journey yourself, it's a good opportunity to think about the special warriors in our lives, and what we can do to help.

Midwest Fiber's sister company, C.O.P.S. Paper Shredding is pleased to launch its 4th year of Shred for the Cure to fund cancer research and treatment through a donation to Susan G. Komen, a breast cancer organization that works globally in 30 countries!

Susan G Komen:

Educating, supporting research, and offering grants that provide financial and emotional assistance for women with cancer, Susan G. Komen continues to empower others to invest in the quest for a cure!

So, how can you be a part of C.O.P.S.' Shred for the Cure?

If you already schedule shred jobs with C.O.P.S., you don't have to do anything differently to join this initiative! Just continue being awesome!!

If you don't have C.O.P.S. shred your confidential documents and would like to schedule a shred job, call 1-866-427-4733 and join us this year in Shred for the Cure!

It takes 95% less energy to recycle aluminum than it does to make it from raw materials. Making recycled steel saves 60%, recycled newspaper 40%, recycled plastics 70%, and recycled glass 40%. These savings far outweigh the energy created as by-products of incineration and landfilling.
